In 1926, the younger Fuchs sold the business to Oscar Hildebrant and in 1941, it changed hands again when Harry Minshall purchased the business. Minshall sold the furniture store to Arthur Swanson in 1947, but retained the funeral home, which he continued to operate for decades. Olsen also added a thank-you to all the community of Jefferson for the opportunity he and his father had to serve so many local families over the years. But most important will be the personal relationships he forms with community members in the course of his profession. The Gibsons plan to be move to Jefferson as soon as the remodeling is done.

She grew up in the Strasburg area and after she finished her schooling, married Eugene Fleck on December 29, 1955. Rosebella and Eugene were blessed with two loving children, Delilah and David. Shirley L. Boos, 87, of Rome, WI left her loving family on November 29, 2022 at her home. Shirley was born on August 27, 1935, daughter of Wilbur and Jennie Dirkse. She married the love of her life, Ralph L. Boos on November 22, 1958 at Siloam Methodist Church.

Olsen noted that his father attended school there in the 1950s and he followed in his father’s footsteps.
